The Grundy County-Jewett Norris Friends of the Library is hosting its annual book sale on April 11-15 just in time for spring cleaning.
Persons are asked to drop off their gently used books, puzzles, games and CD’s at the library for the group’s sale sale. Once space is available from spring cleaning, persons can come to the library and fill the space back up with selections from the book sale to maintain a year’s worth of reading and playing fun.
The Friends of the Library dinner will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 7 at the library. The guest speaker, Carroll Walker of Green City, will discuss being a one-armed archer and how his handicap has not limited the joy he finds in life.
