S.M. Rissler Elementary School students raised $7,348 for the American Heart Association during the 2017 “Jump Rope for Heart” event held during the month of February. Emma Merrin,above, raised the most money, $305, as well as received the donation farthest away from Trenton (Australia). The second grade raised the most money, $1,670, while Ms. McCartney’s third grade class was the class raising the most money, $689.50. In the past 10 years, Rissler Elementary School students have raised $79,723.81.
