Mercer Boys 59, Albany Boys 13
The Mercer boys rolled up a big win in the first round of the Class 1, District 14 Tournament on Monday night in Eagleville. The Cardinals outscored the Warriors 19-0 in the opening frame and were never in danger the rest of the way, winning by 46 points.
Cash Hartley had 18 points to lead Mercer (21-5). Cam Hartley added 14 points, Bryer Noe had 10 and Grey Porter collected nine.

Mercer Girls 76, East Harrison Girls 20

A 23-2 first quarter run followed by a 23-1 second quarter run was more than enough to propel the Mercer High School girls basketball team to a regular season-closing victory over East Harrison. The win wrapped up the eighth-straight HDC Conference championship for the Cardinals.
Lindsay Wyatt had 16 points, 10 rebounds and six assists to lead Mercer (24-1, 7-0 HDC). Emily Sample added 15 points and Nicole Kost had 11 points, nine steals, six assists and five blocked shots. Bailey Owens had 10 points, 13 rebounds, seven steals, four assists and five blocks and Morgan Eastin added nine points.

Mercer Boys 68, East Harrison Boys 27
The Mercer boys closed out the regular season with a dominating victory over East Harrison. Mercer grabbed control early, running out to an 18-5 first quarter lead, and never looked back. By halftime Mercer led 39-11. The Cardinals continued to pull away through the second half as well, going on to win by 41 points.
Cash Hartley had 21 points and nine rebounds to lead Mercer. Hunter Shipley added 17 points and Grey Porter had 10 points and four steals. Bryer Noe finished with eight points, five steals and three assists.
