North Central Missouri College hosted its first Nursing and Health Sciences Day on Wednesday, Feb. 15 with over 120 high school students visiting the campus and taking tours of Cross Hall classrooms and lab. Current nursing and health science students were members of a student panel answering questions from high school students about life as a health science student at NCMC. Over 25 vendors comprised of healthcare employers and four-year institutions from across Missouri visited with NCMC nursing and health science students as well as members of the community about their opportunities after graduation. A panel of experts in various health care fields also provided discussion and advice about working as a healthcare professional. The panel included, from left, Casey Feigly, Betsy Keithley, Justin Curley, Lesa Gray, Jenni Kennebeck, Jeff Curran, Tammie Spencer and NiCole Neal.
