Preschool and kindergarten students from Pleasant View R-6 School took an educational outing to the United States Post Office in Trenton on Friday, Feb. 10. While there, they learned about how the postal service operates on a daily basis and how mail gets from one destination to another. The children also mailed special letters to grasp the true experience of sending and receiving mail. The outing wraps up a unit the preschoolers have been doing on how the postal service operates. Students read books, colored mail and made mail carrier hats. The teachers are Janet Lea Lake, preschool, and Abby Richman, kindergarten. Chris Rulo is the preschool aide.
