Feb 6, 2017 | Headline News

The Family and Friends of the Developmentally Disabled will be providing transportation and supervision for individuals with special needs who want to attend the North Central Missouri College women’s and men’s basketball games on Saturday, Feb. 18.
Admission for those individuals will be free, however, FFDD will be compiling a list of those attending. The list will be given to the gatekeepers at the Ketcham Community Center, who will check off the names of those individuals as they enter. In addition to the free admission, NCMC will also provide a free bag of popcorn, a drink and brownie.
Games start at 2 and 4 p.m. The FFDD bus will leave the Friendship Place Apartments around 1 p.m. and return at approximately 6 p.m.
Persons wanting to take the bus are asked to call the FFDD office as soon as possible as space is limited. Persons riding the bus can either leave from the apartments or arrange to be picked up. Calls for rides should be made before Feb. 15.
Those wanting to attend the game, but not needing a ride, must also call the FFDD office to be included on the free admission list. The telephone number is 359-3285.
