The Pleasant View R-6 Community Club and R-6 Alumni Committee have announced extension of the deadline for their “Bricks for Bluejays” fundraiser to Wednesday, March 1.
The two organizations are selling engraved personalized bricks to use in the construction of a new marquee sign in the circle drive of the school, adjacent to the flag pole. The sign will be used to post school reminders, words of encouragement and promote school spirit.
Bricks are 4 inches by 8 inches and may have up to three lines of wording with up to 20 characters per line, including spaces and punctuation. Money raised from the sales will be used to pay for the sign as well as supplies and all assembly costs associated with the sign’s construction.
