The Grundy R-5 High School girls’ basketball team fell to Tina-Avalon at the Meadville Tournament on Tuesday night.
Zoe Littleton led Grundy (7-8) with nine points and five rebounds.

Northwestern Boys 75, Grundy R-5 Boys 50
The Grundy boys were also relegated to the loser’s side of the bracket in Meadville, dropping their opening round match-up with Northwestern.
Wayne Baxter had 21 points and two assists to lead the Panthers (4-11). Bryson Gann had 16 points and Carter Searcy had 10.
Grundy’s teams play in the consolation semifinals tonight. The girls tip off at 4:30 and boys follow at 5:45.
