North Central Missouri College will host a Nursing and Health Sciences Day on Thursday, Feb. 16 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the main campus in Trenton.
This day will be for high school students, current nursing and health sciences students and individuals in the region who are interested in nursing and health science professions. The day will begin at 9 a.m. for high school and current students and 10:30 a.m. for individuals in the region at the Ketcham Community Center. Sessions will be provided for individuals to speak to current students to gain a realistic insight on what school for these professions entails. There will also be a panel of health care professionals currently working in the field to answer questions related to their everyday tasks and job. Vendors will be accessible to aid individuals in planning a degree path, and prospective employers will also be in attendance who may have employment opportunities available.
