Dedra Ann “Debbie” Ngo, a 49-year-old resident of Sedalia, died on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017 at the Bothwell Regional Medical Center in Sedalia.
The body was cremated by the Ewing, Schutte, Semler Funeral Home of Sedalia. Burial and graveside services will be held at a later date at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
Mrs. Ngo was born on Sept. 5, 1967 in Trenton, the daughter of John Edward and Patsy Ann Shanks. She graduated in 1985 from Trenton High School and in 1987 from Trenton Junior College. She was a member of the Tenth Street Baptist Church in Trenton.
She was married on Aug. 26, 1994 to Coung Ngo, who survives of the home. They spent their entire married lives in Sedalia.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her father, John Edward Shanks of Trenton; her mother, Patsy Ann Adams and her husband, Wilbur L. Adams of Maryville; one sister, Diana Lynn (Frank) Thieman of Moberly; an aunt and uncle, Kenny and Donna Clark of Chillicothe; one great-aunt, Margie Langwell of Brookfield; and several other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Oma Shanks and Kenneth and Iva Clark; and several aunts and uncles.
