U.S. Bank vs. Delores T. McCauley and others. The court entered a default judgment, sustaining the plaintiff’s motion for a summary judgment in the case, which involved a petition to quiet a title.
Terry L. Duncan, Spickard, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to driving while intoxicated (drug intoxication) and had his case set for Feb. 9, as well as having cases on charges of speeding and unlawful possession of a firearm set for Feb. 9.
James L. Houk, Princeton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to second degree burglary. A jury trial has been scheduled for May 25.
Clifford E.D. Neff, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to driving while revoked or suspended. His case was set for Feb. 9.
Justin J. Rainey, Gallatin, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to resisting arrest for a felony and possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana. He was sentenced to serve four years in the Department of Corrections on each charge, with the sentences to run concurrently with each other and with a case in Daviess County.
Peter Ulberg, Sweet Springs, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to two counts of non-support. Imposition of his sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years, with the condition that he pay $383 per month in current support and $150 per month on the amount in arrears, with the amount in arrears to be paid prior to the end of probation.
Travis O. Williams, Princeton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to non-support. He is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 9.
Rhonda R. Howard, Trenton, had a jury trial set for April 26 on charges of distribution/delivery/manufacture/production of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana (two counts).
Victor L. Tunnell, Galt, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to forgery. Imposition of his sentence was suspended. He was placed on probation for five years and is to pay $300 to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund and $3,223 restitution. He also pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child and was fined $300 and is to pay $100 to the LEF.
Miriah M. Butler, Trenton, had her probation revoked on a charge of distribution/deliv-ery/manufacture/production of a controlled substance and was ordered to serve her original sentence of 15 years in the Department of Corrections. Her probation was also revoked on a charge of domestic assault and she was ordered to serve four years in the DOC. The court will retain jurisdiction for 120 days and the court requests that the defendant be placed in an institutional treatment program.
Sharmyn L. Ceradsky, Trenton, had her probation continued on an original charge of second degree burglary, with the additional conditions that she serve 48 hours shock time and complete an alcohol and drug program.
Carrie A. McClain, Kearney, had her probation revoked on an original charge of tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution and was ordered to serve the original sentence of seven years in the Department of Corrections.
Shauna M. Neff, Trenton, had her probation continued on two charges of distribution/delivery/manufacture/production of a controlled substance. Additional conditions include successfully completing the CODS program, with the court retaining jurisdiction for a 120 days.
Rodney W. Cranor, Trenton, had imposition of his sentence suspended on charges of forgery and passing bad checks, to which he had earlier pleaded guilty. He was placed on probation for five years and is to pay $3,858.86 restitution.
Justin T. Sharp, Trenton, was sentenced to serve six years in the Department of Corrections on a charge of second degree domestic assault, to which he had earlier pleaded guilty. His sentence is to run concurrently with one in Benton County.
Jesse D. Richmond IV, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to theft of a firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm. he is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 9.
Amber Bottcher, Bethany, pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs and had imposition of her sentence suspended. She was placed on probation for five years and is to complete the Third Circuit Treatment Program. The case was heard in Grundy County on a change of venue from Mercer County.
Jeremy J. Osburn, Trenton, had his probation continued on an original charge of distribution/delivery/manufacture/production of a controlled substance with the additional condition that he complete the CODS Program, with the court retaining jurisdiction for 120 days.
Jordan L. Cabra, Trenton, had imposition of his sentence suspended and was placed on probation for five years on an charge of conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance near a school. He is to pay $200 to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund and complete 20 hours of community service within 30 days. He had earlier pleaded guilty to the charge.
Levi G. Bell, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to second degree burglary and resisting arrest for a felony. He is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 9.
Thomas B. Dalton, Galt, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to first degree child molestation and had his case for Feb. 9.
Kevin Bivens, Brookfield, had his probation revoked on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana. He was ordered to serve his original sentence of four years in the Department of Corrections, with the court retaining jurisdiction for 120 days. He is to be placed in shock incarceration.
