NCMC Women Pick Up Road Win

The North Central Missouri College women’s basketball team opened the year with a road win in Fulton on Sunday, topping William Woods University 81-66.
Kendey Eaton had 19 points and five assists to pace the Lady Pirates, who also got 14 points, 13 rebounds, four steals and three assists from Sarah Lamp. McKinley Hurley had 12 points and three assists, Kelly Warford had 11 points and Jami Nickerson finished with 10 points and five assists.
The win moved the Lady Pirates to 9-5 overall on the season. NCMC will host the University of Saint Mary’s junior varsity squad in Trenton Wednesday, tipping off at 5:30 p.m. The North Central men will host the Missouri Valley junior varsity following that game.
