Marjorie Jean Wingerd, 88, died on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016 in Phoenix, AZ.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016 at the Mt. Pleasant Evangelical Church, 1344 Daisy Road, Abilene, KS.
Mrs. Wingerd was born and resided in Trenton until marrying Keith Wingerd in 1950 and moving to Kansas. She graduated from Trenton High School and Trenton Junior College.
Survivors include daughters Ann (Rodney) Beem of Phoenix, Jean (Jim) Johnson of Goodland, KS and Gail Wingerd of Woodland Park, CO; two sisters-in-law, Wilma Skinner and Barbara Skinner; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Thelma Skinner; two brothers, Bob and Willard Skinner; and a sister, Charlene Vance.
