Kenneth Lee Willis, an 84-year-old resident of Mercer, died on Saturday, Dec.17, 2016 at his home.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016 at the Roberson Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will follow in the Freedom Cemetery at Cainsville.
A family visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Willis was born on June 30, 1932 in Akron, MO, the son of Chester C. and Ethel M. Thomas Willis.
He was married at Princeton on Dec. 23, 1956 to Virginia Willis, who survives of the home.
He served his country in the United States Army. He was a farmer most of his life, raising grain and livestock.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Virginia are two sons, Chuck (Shelly) Willis of Princeton and Larry (Betty) Willis of Mercer; three brothers, Harlin Willis, Ronnie (Kay) Willis and Marvin (Janet) Willis; two sisters, Norma (Mervil) Flanagan and Sharon (Jim) McLain; three grandchildren, Eric and Amanda Willis and Jennie Willis; and two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Luke Willis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dennis and Noel Willis.
