As part of Friday night’s Trenton-Chillicothe basketball game at Chillicothe, the CHS Leadership Class will be holding a “Teddy Bear Toss” during the boys game.
This is the third year for the event, in which those attending are asked to bring a new stuffed animal with them. When the Chillicothe boys score their first basket, the crowd will throw their stuffed animals onto the basketball court. Play will stop and students will collect them, with the animals to then be donated to the “Kids in Crisis” charity.
Trenton fans are invited to join in the event. During the past two years, over 300-plus stuffed animals have been donated.
