Route P Closure

Dec 2, 2016 | Headline News

Route P in Mercer County will soon close for a bridge replacement project.
Contractors from Ennis Excavating, LLC of Jamestown, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, plan to close the road to all traffic at the bridge over Brushy Creek. The roadway is scheduled to close at 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 5. The road will remain closed until the beginning of February 2017 while contractors replace the current bridge, built in 1955.
During the project, motorists will need to use an alternate route. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.
