Nov 17, 2016 | Headline News

A Lock Springs resident is charged with second degree murder following an incident on Saturday, Nov. 12 that resulted in a death.
Aaron T. Tucker is accused in the death of Michael Estabrook during a physical altercation between the two men at a residence near Lake Street in Lock Springs. Tucker is being held in the Daviess-DeKalb County Regional Jail on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
According to Daviess County Sheriff Ben Becerra, Daviess County officials received a 9-1-1 call early Saturday morning in reference to an individual in cardiac arrest. Shortly after arrival of the Daviess County Community Ambulance and Jamesport First Responders, members of the crew learned that the patient, later identified as Estabrook, had been knocked unconscious during a physical altercation. Estabrook was taken to the Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, where he was pronounced dead.
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office was then dispatched to investigate the incident, which resulted in the questioning of Tucker. He was later arrested for assault but has since been charged with second degree murder.
Investigation into the incident is ongoing, Becerra said.
