The children of Denny and Teresa Mallette Daum of Newtown are requesting a card shower to help their parents celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016. The couple were married on Nov. 27, 1976 at the Newtown Christian Church. They have lived in Newtown the past 30 years, where Denny is the minister of the Newtown Christian Church and Teresa is a paraprofessional at the Newtown-Harris School. They are the parents of four children, Natalie (Reid) Johnson, Jason (Becky) Daum, Kali (Kameron) Cool and Chelsea (Corbin) Coe. They also have 10 grandchildren and two more on the way.
