Laredo Tournament Begins

The Laredo seventh and eighth grade tournament opened on Monday night with four games. Bishop Hogan swept Chula with a 37-0 win in the girls game and a 37-18 victory in the boys game. Laredo topped Pleasant View in the late games, winning the girls contest 12-8 and the boys match-up 32-16.
Jessica Reeter led the Bishop Hogan girls with 13 points while Spencer Shira had 14 to pace the Bishop Hogan boys. Chula got 10 points from Samuel Pauley in the boys game. Laredo was led by seven points from Hannah Bowe in the girls game and got 15 and 11 from Cooper Lewis and Peyton Moore, respectively, in the boys contest. Pleasant View had six points from Teya Cooksey in the girls game while Preston Harris led the Pleasant View boys with 12 points.
The tournament continues tonight in Laredo with four more games.
