Flu Shot Event On Tuesday, Oct. 25

The Grundy County Health Department will be holding a Halloween Flu Shot Spooktacular on Tuesday, Oct. 25 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the health department office.
Flu shots will be available for all ages and there will also be Halloween treats, prize drawings, and GCHD staff will dress in festive apparel.
Flu shots are recommended for all individuals age 6 months and older. The Health Department has vaccine for all age groups, including high dose vaccine for those over age 65. Persons with Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance should bring their card for billing purposes. Uninsured persons are asked to make a donation to help cover the cost of the vaccine.
Flu shots will be offered on a walk-in basis during the event. Persons with questions about flu shots can call the health department at 359-4196.
