As part of this year’s Trenton High School Halloween Carnival for infants through third grade, members of the THS FCCLA chapter will be collecting items in support of the Green Hills Women’s Shelter.
The FCCLA is seeking items such as canned foods, body soap, dish soap, shampoo, diapers and baby wipes, adult and child sweatpants, children’s underwear and socks, paper plates, cups and plastic utensils, toilet paper and paper towels. Cash donations will also be accepted.
Persons making a donation will receive a ticket for a prize, with the winner to be announced at the end of the costume contest.
The carnival will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 26 in the high school commons and gym. The carnival starts at 5 p.m., with the costume contest set for 6 p.m.
