The cause of death of a Trenton woman and her daughter has been released.
According to Trenton Police Chief Tommy Wright, Elizabeth Lafollette, 24, died of an overdose and the death of her 11-month-old daughter, Shannon Jeannoutot-Lafollette, was heat-related. Both were found dead in a car on the Trenton McDonald’s parking lot on July 16. Chief Wright said the deaths were accidental.
