Swan Lake National Wildlife Refuge will hold its second season of waterfowl hunting this year. Waterfowl hunting permits will be filled through an online draw conducted at www.swanlakepermits.com.
There will be four separate draws throughout the season. The first draw’s application period runs from now until Oct. 14. Hunt dates for this draw are Oct. 29 and 30 and Nov. 2, 9 and 11. There will be no waterfowl hunts on Nov. 4-6 due to managed deer hunting on the refuge. The draw notification date for the first hunt is set for Oct. 24.
