Falyce Arlene Shepherd, an 80-year-old resident of Jamesport, died on Friday, Oct. 7, 2016 at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016 at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Chillicothe.
There is no scheduled family visitation.
Mrs. Shepherd was born on March 3, 1936 in Beatrices, NE, the daughter of Jacob and Johanna Buss Yoder. She was a 1953 graduate of Mooresville High School. She was a member of the Eastern Star Sincerity Chapter Delaware Lodge.
She was married on June 10, 1955 in Chillicothe to L. Dean Shepherd, who preceded her in death on Aug. 2, 2004.
Survivors include three sons, Rick Shepherd of Jamesport, Joseph Shepherd and his wife, Vicky of Berthoud, CO and Richard Shepherd of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Carolynn Cole of Rockford, MI, Robin Wilson of Las Vegas, NV, Ricky Dean Shepherd II of Milan, Joey Shepherd Jr. of Berthoud and Daniel Shepherd of Berthoud.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son; Phillip Shepherd; two brothers, Everett and Harold Yoder; and four great-grandchildren.
