New Deputy Sworn In

The Grundy County Sheriff’s Department has a new deputy, but it is someone who is very familiar to the local law enforcement community. Derek Miller, left, was sworn in as the county’s newest deputry by Circuit Court Judge Jack Peace on Tuesday. Miller had been serving as an officer with the Trenton Police Department and begins his new duties today.
