Falls Prevention Event Set For Friday

The Grundy County Falls Risk Coaltion will be sponsoring Falls Prevention Awareness Day on Friday, Oct. 7.
The event will be held at the North 65 Center from 9:30 a.m. until noon. Participants will view a display showing how to reduce trip hazards around the home. There will also be a drawing for a gift card and other giveaways.
The Falls Risk Coalition is a group of Grundy County organizations and individuals working together to prevent senior falls. For more information about the coalition, persons can contact Debbie Beverlin at 359-4218.
