David Johnson, a 67-year-old Trenton resident, died at 5:50 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Funeral services with military rites will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016 at Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton. The body will be cremated following the service.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016 at the funeral home.
Mr. Johnson was born on Oct. 31, 1948 in Chillicothe, the son of William David and Mary Nida Johnson. He worked as a foreman at Landmark Manufacturing. He was married on Dec. 31, 2005 to Jean Keats.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Johnson of Trenton; a son David Johnson and his wife, Heather of Trenton; daughters, Tiffany Penney of Trenton, Mary Beth Delile and her husband, Keith of Trenton, Chrystal Johnson and Jeana Anderson of Kearney; a brother, Robert Johnson of Kearney; a sister, Martha Brinkley of Kearney; a cousin, Larry Starrett of Trenton; and 14 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
