North Central Missouri College will begin offering lecture series given by NCMC faculty members on a variety of topics related to education.
The first lecture will be at 3 p.m. on Nov. 7 in the NCMC Library located in Geyer Hall. Dr. Johannah Baugher will be providing a lecture on “Liberation for All: The Search for Wholeness through Literacy.” In this lecture series, Dr. Baugher will discuss low literacy and the implications as a national concern and societal problem. Dr. Baugher will discuss solutions and an action plan for combatting low literacy in our society.
