Falls Prevention Class Planned

“It’s a Matter of Balance” is the title of a series of classes to be taught in Trenton in October and November.
The University of Missouri Extension will sponsor the classes, which will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Grundy County Health Department. Classes will be held on Oct. 24, 28 and 31 as well as Nov. 3, 7, 10, 14 and 17. There is a $20 participation fee, however, scholarships are available. The program is funded, in part, by the Northwest Missouri Area Agency on Aging with funding from the Older American’s Act of 1965.
Meridith Berry, Janet Hackert and Jessica Trussell, specialists with University of Missouri Extension, will teach the classes, which will also be held in Gallatin from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Access II facility on the same days as listed above.
