Lindsey Marie Creason and Jordan Blair Ripley were married in a double-ring ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016 at the Hodge Presbyterian Church. Parents of the couple are Lee and Dana Creason of Trenton and Bob and Gina Ripley of Oregon, MO.

The bride is the daughter of Lee and Dana Creason of Trenton. The groom is the son of Bob and Gina Ripley of Oregon, MO.
The bride’s grandparents include Bob and Marie Campbell of Laredo, Richard Creason of Trenton and the late Venita Creason. The groom’s grandparents include Albert and Glenda Atkins of Oregon, BJ Ripley of Forest City, Lowell Ripley of Leesburg, FL and the late Betty Atkins.
The bride was given away by her parents and wore an ivory, all-over lace, cap-sleeve trumpet gown with a keyhole back and a heavily-beaded sash, with a chapel train. Her bridal bouquet consisted of white hydrangeas, pink and coral carnations, pink and white garden roses and Galaxy leaves with a handkerchief that belonged to her late grandmother, Venita Creason, tucked in.
The maid of honor was Haley Creason, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Holley Norton, Katie Guinn and Shelby Dyer, all friends of the bride. They wore one-shoulder lace and mesh dresses in bellini pink. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
The best man was Brett Scheib, friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Greg Klote and Jacob Eschenbrenner, both friends of the groom, and Brent Ripley, brother of the groom. Ushers were Denny Montgomery and Tim Gaasch, both friends of the groom. They wore black tuxedos with gold vests and gold bow ties. The groom wore a black tuxedo with an ivory vest and an ivory bow tie.
The flower ladies were Marie Campbell, grandmother of the bride, and BJ Ripley, grandmother of the groom. The guest book and gift attendants were Emily Ripley and Alex Ripley, both sisters of the groom. All the corsages and boutonnieres were in various sizes and pink, coral and white colors and were made by Dianna Fox, aunt of the bride.
The bride carried out the tradition of something old (a garter made with lace from her mother’s wedding dress), something new (her dress), something borrowed (a bracelet from her friend, Savannah Bacon), something blue (“I Do” jewel stickers on the bottom of her shoes) and a sixpence in her shoe.
Special music included Brady Kurtz, cousin of the groom, who performed a saxophone solo, “The Prayer” during the lighting of the candelabras. Candlelighters were Dana Creason, mother of the bride, and Gina Ripley, mother of the groom. Charlie Bacon, friend of the bride, played the guitar and sang “I Cross My Heart” during the unity canvas painting ceremony.
A dinner and dancing reception was held at the Spillman Event Center in Jamesport, at 6 p.m. Cupcakes were served and guests had fun with the photo booth. Wedding and reception attendants included Lisa Campbell, aunt of the bride; and Penny Tolle, Deanna Bunnell, Kathi Brewer and Andrea Merrin, all friends of the bride.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Trenton High School and a 2011 graduate of Missouri Western State University. She is currently employed by the Children’s Services Division in Cameron.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of South Holt High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Missouri. He is currently employed with Citizens Bank and Trust in Kansas City.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to the Riviera Maya in Mexico and are now at home in St. Joseph.
