R-6 Students Visit Library

Sep 19, 2016 | Headline News

Submitted Photo Preschool and kindergarten students from Pleasant View R-6 School went to the Jewett Norris Library on Friday, Sept. 16. While there, students listened to a book, “I Don't Want To Be A Frog,” read by Charity Halstead, pictured above. They followed up with an activity related to the book, creating big eyed frogs to take home. During the visit, children learned about the level of the books the library has to offer, and the process of checking out their own library book was introduced hands-on. Pleasant View students will visit the library once a month from September through April.
