The City of Trenton will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, Sept. 28 to discuss conflict of interest issues involving demolition of a property owned by a city council member.
The meeting will be at 4:30 p.m. at city hall. Discussed will be demolition of the structure at 506 E. 8th Ct., which is owned by second ward councilman Larry Porter. Porter has requested the structure be placed on the city’s demolition project list.
As with other structures on the demolition list, the city will be paying a portion of the cost to have the structure removed with the Porters also agreeing to pay a certain amount.
