Pink Out Game is Oct. 7

Sep 15, 2016 | Headline News

The Trenton High School Key Club is organizing a “Pink Out’ night to be held Friday, Oct. 7 during the football game against Maysville.
The focus of the event is to raise funds and awareness and to show support to those in the school district and community who are currently fighting breast cancer and to demonstrate that no one fights this battle alone.
Key Club is currently taking orders for “pink out” shirts that can be worn that night. The short sleeve t-shirt is pink and features a bulldog with the pink ribbon logo and the slogan “Go Fight Cure!”
Shirts are $10 each for youth medium through adult XL and $12 for 2XL through 4XL. Order forms are available on the district website at trentonr9.k12.mo.us under the Hot Topics heading. The deadline to order shirts is Friday, Sept. 23.
Order forms can be returned to offices at Rissler Elementary School, the middle school or high school as well as the district office. They may also be picked up and returned to Dave’s Body Shop on Highway Y in Trenton.
Shirts ordered by students and faculty/staff will be delivered at school, while arrangements for pickup/delivery will be made with individuals ordering from the community. Members of the football team, cheer squad, band and color guard will be sporting pink accents to show their support as well. All proceeds from shirt sales will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Questions can be directed to Key Club sponsor Kara Helmandollar at 359-5966 or 635-0526.
