The Trenton Middle School softball team was on the road in Bethany on Thursday night, taking on South Harrison on Linch Field. Trenton dropped both the A and B contests, falling 14-2 in the A game and 6-1 in the B game.
JilliAnn Nichols took the loss in the A game, throwing four innings with one strikeout and 14 walks. Lexi Gott was one-for-two at the plate with a run scored and Maci Moore went two-for-two with a triple and a run scored.
In the B game, Gracyn Rongey was two-for-two with a run to lead the Lady Bulldogs.
Trenton’s middle school teams, both 0-1, will look to get into the win column next Thursday, playing in the home opener on Johnson Field in Trenton against Milan. The first pitch for the A game is set for 5:30 p.m.
