Council Interviews Two More Candidates

Two more individuals were interviewed for the city administrator’s position during a meeting of the Trenton City Council on Monday night.
City Clerk and Interim City Administrator Cindy Simpson said no decisions were made following the interviews and that there is no timetable as to when a decision might be made.
Four individuals have been interviewed for the position, which has been vacant since May 1 with the retirement of Kerry Sampson.
No other interviews have been scheduled at this time. The council’s next regular meeting is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 12.
