Brandon Gene Shuler, a 42-year-old Trenton resident, died from cardiac arrest at 12:12 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016, at Saint Luke’s North in Kansas City.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial will be at the Martin Cemetery, northeast of Trenton.
A family visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016 at the mortuary.
Mr. Shuler was born on Feb. 26, 1974 in Chillicothe, the son of Gene and Cordelia Hildebrand Shuler. He attended Trenton schools where he was active in football and wrestling. He graduated in 1993 from Trenton High School. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He most treasured the time he spent with his family, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Surviving relatives include his children, Jennifer Shuler and her companion, Tyler Allen of Trenton, Mason Shuler of Clarence and Keaton Shuler of Trenton; and a brother, Danny Shuler and his wife, Lori of Trenton; grandchildren, Carter and Denver Callahan, and IndiLinn Allen, all of Trenton; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Tressia Shuler Anderson.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family for funeral expenses.
