Friday morning, Aug. 19, 2016 at Saint Luke’s on the Plaza in Kansas City.
The body was cremated under the direction of Slater Funeral Home in Trenton.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27 at the Edgewood Cemetery in Chillicothe with Rev. Larry Reeter officiating.
Mrs. Christopher was born on April 22, 1929 in Carrollton, the daughter of Roy William and Golda Ann Nance Krubeck. She graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1947. She retired as manager from Mid-West Glove of Chillicothe.
She was a member of United Methodist Church in Chillicothe.
She was married at Chillicothe on Aug. 3, 1947 to Frank Christopher, who preceded her in death on March 11, 2005.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Street and her husband, Randy of Trenton and Carolyn Cox and her husband, Randy of Kirksville; one son, Kenneth Christopher of Chillicothe; one sister, Betty Davis of Lexington; one son-in-law, Jim Jackson of Jacksonville, FL; and six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Connie Jackson; and one daughter-in-law, Pat Christopher.
Memorials are suggested to the Edgewood Cemetery and may be left at the funeral home.
