The Trenton City Council will hold its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 22 at city hall.
A public hearing will be held on the proposed tax levy, with the regular meeting to follow. Items on the agenda include an ordinance fixing the city tax rate, an agreement between the city of Trenton, the Department of Natural Resources and the Attorney General’s office regarding a sewer treatment settlement and the first reading of an ordinance amending the wastewater pretreatment section of the Trenton city code. Also on the agenda is discussion of bids for property at 1716 Carnes St., discussion of combining the city administrator/utility director positions and discussion of the 2016 August electric rates.
