Classes in the Tri-County R-7 School District at Jamesport began this morning, with an increase of five students over the first day of class last August.
A total of 180 students are enrolled, an increase from 175 last year in grades kindergarten through 12. The biggest class is the seventh grade with 18 students, while the smallest class is the kindergarten with eight students. Enrollment, by grade, is kindergarten, 8; first, 17; second, 12; third, 17; fourth, 16; fifth, 13; sixth, 11; seventh, 18; eighth, 11; freshmen, 15; sophomores, 15; juniors, 15; and seniors, 12.
