Area Residents Receive Awards In Livestock Judging

As the Missouri State Fair continues, several area youth received honors during livestock judging.
Savannah Millburn of Princeton had the Champion Shropshire in the FFA Market Lamb Show on Aug. 11. She is the daughter of Adam and Rene Millburn.
Grey Porter of Mercer had the champion entry in the FFA Market Goat Show on Aug. 10. He is the son of Gary and Lori Porter and is a junior at North Mercer High School.
Hannah Bruse of Princeton received the Champion Medium Weight and Best Hen in Goose Class of the Goose Show on Aug. 15. She also received Grand Champion 4-H Lightweight and Reserve Champion in the Open Goose Show. She is the daughter of Brad and Pam Bruse and is a seventh grader at Princeton R-5 High School.
Hailey Eads of Jamesport showed the Champion Market Heifer in the 4-H Market Heifer Show on Aug.16. She is the daughter of Brandon and Jena Eads and is sixth grader at Tri-County R-7 School.
Tanner Hudson of Trenton had the Reserve Champion Heifer in the 4-H Maine Anjou Show on Aug. 14. He is the son of Steve and Lora Hudson and is attending college.
