Firemen Answer Morning Call

Aug 10, 2016 | Fire Department, Headline News

The Trenton Fire Department and the Grundy County Rural Fire Protection District were dispatched to a fire early today at Rapid Removal Solid Waste Transfer Station in north Trenton.
According to information provided by the information officer, a trailer was reported to be on fire. Firefighters arrived to find flames showing and set about extinguishing the fire. When the initial fire was controlled, the contents of the trailer were removed and overhauled, assuring that the fire was completely out and would not rekindle at a later time. There was minimal damage to the trailer, apart from the tarp which had covered the top.
The cause of the fire was determined to be a paint booth filter.
