CMT (County Music Television) has selected North Central Missouri College student Todd Bourcard from Brookfield to participate in the concert event, Empowering Education, featuring rising country music artist Courtney Cole.
The concert will begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10 at the Davis Multipurpose Center in Sedalia. A resource fair offering information about community college educational opportunities in Missouri will be presented prior to the concert at 5:30 p.m.
This event is sponsored by CMT in alliance with Missouri Community College Association and is free to all that would like to attend.
During the concert, Bourcard will have a chance to speak about how community college helped him obtain his educational goals. A video of Bourcard, filmed on the NCMC campus, will also be shown during the event, highlighting his time at NCMC.
