The weather may have been warm, but it certainly didn’t keep persons away from the first night of the Galt Community Fair on Thursday. “Flag Tag” was held on the southeast side of the square, with youth in two age groups taking part throughout the evening. At right, DLO provided the musical entertainment. The Galt Fire Protection District’s Women’s Auxiliary also held a spaghetti supper at the fire station. Tonight’s program features a demonstration by the Galt Fire Protection District and music by the Young Country Band. A full slate of events are planned for Saturday, including music by City Limit and the announcement of the fair prince and princess. Activities conclude with a community church service on Sunday at the Galt Square.
