Local Girl In Shooting Competition

Submitted Photo Hannah Persell of Trenton was a member of the Missouri Muzzleloading Team that placed first in the 4-H National Shooting Sports Championship held June 26-July 1 in Grand Island, NE. In three days of competition, the team took third, fifth and first to place first overall. A total of nine Missouri teams participated in the event, earning the Davidson traveling trophy as the high-point winner. Individually, Miss Persell earned 14th place in the national event. This was the third year in a row Miss Persell represented Missouri on a shooting sports team.
