NCMC Upward Bound Hosts Event

North Central Missouri College’s Upward Bound program recently hosted an academic bowl with other area Upward Bound programs as a part of their summer six-week residential component at NCMC. Members of Upward Bound programs from Simpson College in Indianola, IA, Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, IA and Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville joined NCMC’s UB program to participate in several contests. Approximately 200 students were in attendance. Students participated in both academic and athletic events while getting the chance to meet their peers and explore the campus.
