Due to unforeseen issues, there is an immediate need for drivers for the VA shuttle.
Service Officer Wayne Kleinschmidt said this is a volunteer position and that potential candidates will need to be able to pass a drug screening, background check and physical.
The shuttle is based out of Trenton and is used to get veterans to their doctor appointments. The shuttle serves Grundy County as well as other area communities.
Persons interested in volunteering are asked to contact Kleinschmidt at 359-2078.
