The following civil cases were dismissed: Gerald Brown vs. Grundy County Nursing Home District, personal injury; Citibank N.A. vs. Bob Morgans and Barbara Morgans, breach of contract; Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City vs. Sally A. Overton, suit on account; and WCA Waste Corporation vs. Rapid Removal Disposal, breach of contract.
John Olhberg and others vs. The Estate of Robert Meeker Heirs and others. The court entered a default judgment in favor of the plaintiff and ordered a title quieted.
Brendon M. Brake, Chil-licothe, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to distribution of a controlled substance and had sentencing set for Aug. 18.
Miriah M. Butler, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to distribution of a controlled substance. She is scheduled to appear in court again July 14.
Jason C. Miles, Green Ridge, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to second degree burglary. His motion for a change of judge was sustained and he is scheduled to appear in court July 14.
Devin A. Pierce, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to distribution of a controlled substance near school and distribution or delivery of not more than five grams of marijuana. He is scheduled to appear in court July 14.
Justin T. Sharp, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to second degree domestic assault and had sentencing set for Aug. 18.
Abby L. Farris, Trenton, failed to appear in court on a probation review and had her probation suspended until further notice. Her original charge was escape or attempted escape from confinement.
Nicole L. Webster, no address listed, had her probation continued on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana. Additional conditions include 48 hours of shock time, that she obtain a mental health and alcohol and drug evaluation and follow all recommendations. She is also subject to alcohol monitoring at her own expense until receipt of the alcohol evaluation.
Donald Brown, Milan, pleaded guilty to 12 counts of passing bad checks and had imposition of his sentence suspended. He was placed on probation for five years and was ordered to pay $2,133.35 in restitution. He had earlier pleaded guilty to the charge.
Shandolyn Bradley, Trenton, withdrew her motion for change of venue and change of judge and had her case set for July 14.
Zane Homan, Chillicothe, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to third degree assault and was sentenced to serve 18 days in the Grundy County Detention Center. He pleaded guilty to distribution of a controlled substance and second degree domestic assault. He was sentenced to serve four years in the Department of Corrections on each charge, with the sentences to run concurrently.
Ricky D. Young, Galt, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to two counts of first degree sexual abuse, both class C felonies. Sentencing was set for Aug. 18, which is also when Young is scheduled to appear in court on a charge of first degree sodomy, to which he has pleaded not guilty.
Jordan Cabra, Trenton, withdrew his motion for a change of judge and change of venue and had his cases continued to Aug. 18 on charges of conspiracy to distribute or deliver not more than five grams of marijuana and conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance near a school.
Clyde V. Foster, Trenton, changed his pleas to guilty on two counts of distributing or delivering not more than five grams of marijuana and had sentencing set for Aug. 18.
James L. Houk, Princeton, had a two-day jury trial set for Nov. 1 on a charge of stealing.
Terry F. Johnson, Spickard, changed his plea to guilty on a charge of distribution of a controlled substance and was sentenced to serve seven years in the Department of Corrections. Execution of the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years, with the special condition that he pay $200 to the Law Enforcement Restitution Fund within 30 days.
Jade Mock, changed her plea to guilty on a charge of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana and had sentencing set for Aug. 18. She also changed her plea to guilty on a misdemeanor charge of passing bad checks and was sentenced to serve 23 days in the Grundy County Detention Center, with credit given for time served.
Shauna Neff, Trenton, withdrew her motion for change of venue and change of judge and had her case continued to July 14 on two counts of distribution of a controlled substance.
Lester Chase, Trenton, had his probation revoked on three counts of misdemeanor passing bad checks. His stay of execution was set aside and he was ordered to serve the sentence of 30 days in jail on each count, with the sentence to run concurrently with one in Buchanan County.
Marc L. Gardner, Trenton, had his probation continued with the additional condition that he successfully complete the CODS program, with the court retaining jurisdiction for 120 days. His original charges were possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution.
Jeffrey C. Ohmart, Springfield, had his probation revoked on an original charge of non-support and was ordered to serve his sentence of three years in the Department of Corrections.
Jennifer Webb, Spickard, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution. Sentencing was set for Aug. 18. She was allowed to post bond with the condition that she complete outpatient treatment at Preferred Family Healthcare.

Judge Steven D. Hudson

Amaya J. Zelaya, Milan, pleaded guilty to driving the wrong way on a one-way street and was fined $25.50 and $41.50 costs.
