Isaac J. Wattenbarger, Trenton, pleaded guilty to second degree burglary and was sentenced to serve 28 days in the Grundy County Detention Center, with credit given for time served. He is also to pay $116.50 costs. He appeared in court owing $220 on a previous conviction for speeding and had that amount converted to 22 days in the GCDC. He also owed $96 on a conviction for operating a vehicle without a valid license and had that amount converted to 10 days in the GCDC. He also owed $10 on a conviction for not wearing a seat belt and had that amount converted to one day in the GCDC. The sentences are all to run consecutively.
Megan Corey, Trenton, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of peace disturbance and was sentenced to serve five days in the Grundy County Detention Center, pay $50 to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund and $116.50 costs.
Tristan Vencill, Trenton, pleaded guilty to hindering prosecution and making a false affidavit to mislead a public servant. Imposition of his sentence was dismissed and he was placed on probation for two years. He is to pay $100 to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund, $116.50 costs and restitution.
The following defendants pleaded guilty to their charges and paid their fines through the Fine Collection Center, with their names provided to the Republican-Times:
Pleading guilty to speeding and fined $55.50 were Cody W. DeMoss, Princeton; Rachel Flowers, Gilman City; Sierra Michaelis, Mercer; Margaret L. Ware, Liberty; and Edwin T. Ybanez, Trenton.
Douglas J. Dusenberry, Forsyth, and Laurie A. Nyhagen, Bethany, pleaded guilty to speeding and were fined $30.50.
Pleading guilty to not wearing a seat belt and fined $10 were Vickie A. Flowers, Gilman City; and Crystal L. Jennings, Princeton.
Michael D. Odor, Trenton, pleaded guilty to pursuing/taking/killing/possessing or disposing of wildlife illegally and was fined $24.50.
Jason W. Shuler, Trenton, pleaded guilty to failing to equip a motor carrier vehicle with the required brake system or maintain capable brakes and was fined $130.50.
Murray J. Walker, Blue Springs, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $80.50. He also pleaded guilty to failing to secure a child in a child restraint or booster seat and was fined $20.50.
