The national honor comes on the heels of Trump receiving the Marucci Elite Hitter Award for the NJCAA’s Division I District J, an award given to the All-America nominee with the highest batting average in each of the organization’s 16 districts nationwide.
Trump hit .507 during her sophomore season with 15 home runs, 28 doubles and 74 RBIs. She also stole 16 bases, tallying a .611 on-base percentage and 1.051 slugging percentage.
Trump’s success drew the attention of multiple four-year schools and she will continue playing next season at Harding University in Searcy, AR.
