Falls Coalition Honors Local Businesses

5-26 business 25-26 business 1Trenton businesses McDonald’s, above, and Hardee’s, below, were recently recognized by the Grundy County Fall Coalition for their efforts to make their facilities safer for customers and employees. Members presented a Certificate of Recognition to McDonald’s for adding a new handicapped ramp for improved accessibility and safety. Hardee’s received its Certificate of Recognition for making its entrance safer by improving the sidewalk outside of the restaurant. Taking part in the McDonald’s certificate presentation at left, were, from left, front row, Marge Olson, McDonald’s owner Cathie Habiger, Deb Beverlin; back row, Debbie Cribb, Carlos Vasquez and Jennifer Rueda of McDonald’s and Dr. Jennifer Mercer.
